What is an ADF Sponsored Undergraduate Scholarship?

The ADF Sponsored Undergraduate Scholarship offers students the opportunity to continue studying at your chosen uni whilst being a member of the ADF. You will receive a salary and other benefits while you study and have a guaranteed job as an Engineering Officer in the Navy, Army or Air Force on completion of your degree.

Who should apply: students currently in 1st, 2nd or 3rd year of their Engineering Degree

Value: You will:


  • receive a salary up to $39,137p.a. whilst at Uni

  • have your remaining HECs/HELP contributions paid for

  • receive free medical and dental care

  • have all your text books paid for

  • receive rental assistance

  • have a guaranteed job in your chosen career after completion of your degree


Duration: if you are sponsored for 3 years of your study you will have a job for 4 years after you finish your degree, so your study time plus one year
