Abstract Guidelines

When submitting an abstract please use either the LaTeX or Word template. Abstracts may be created using any software package you choose, but must follow the same prescribed format as these templates, and must be submitted as a PDF file.

You must include the standard information required for a journal abstract:

  • title
  • authors' names
  • authors' affiliations
  • the abstract itself
  • any figures and references.

Abstracts must be a maximum of one page (including title, authors names and affiliation, body, spaces, figures, and references) and written in English for both oral and poster presentations.

You must submit your abstract as a PDF document.

Submission Procedure

Abstracts should be sent to

with the subject line:
IWPCTM15 Abstract (Oral) or IWPCTM15 Abstract (Poster)
by 25 January 2016.

Submissions received after 25 January 2016 may not be included.


Authors will be notified as to whether their abstracts are accepted in February 2016.

Accepted abstracts will be posted on the conference web site and a book of abstracts will be provided to all participants at the start of the conference.

Financial Assistance

There are a limited number of registration waivers available to assist students and young scientist worldwide who have been accepted to present either an oral or poster presentation at the Conference.
