Research Path
The Research Path provides students seeking a career in engineering research with the option of taking a research project. Eligibility is conditional on academic performance in the first semester. Students may progress to a research degree.
Admission Requirements
- Recognised Bachelor of Engineering with a credit average
- Candidates wishing to specialise must have a bachelor's degree with a similar background to the specialisation.
- Applicants who do not meet the admission requirements may be offered the Graduate Diploma in Engineering. A credit average performance in the first semester will allow candidates to apply to transfer to the ME.
Degree Requirements
- a total of 48 credit points
- Specialist degree: units completed in accordance with the degree tables.
- Candidates commencing from 2010 onwards who do not meet the requirements for a specialisation will be awarded a Master of Engineering in their discipline.
