Master of Philosophy (MPhil)
Candidates for the Master of Philosophy engage in research in the Faculty either full-time for not less than one year or part-time for not less than two years. The degree is awarded for a thesis considered to make an original contribution to the subject concerned. Entry requirement is a Bachelors degree with first or second class Honours or an equivalent qualification from an accredited university or institution. Candidates deemed, at the annual review, to have achieved outstanding performance may be recommended for an upgrade to PhD.
