Research in the Faculty of Engineering & Information Technologies
The Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies at the University of Sydney is one of the leading engineering research faculties in Australia with the greatest grant income per academic staff of any university in Australia. It is the third-strongest research faculty in the University of Sydney after Science and Medicine.
Please see our research brochure below for a guide to current research projects within the Faculty. Information regarding applying for research degrees may be found here.
Research Brochure
This brochure has been designed to allow those interested in our research to clearly see the areas in which high-level research is being performed. It provides the names and contacts for academic staff in each area and the websites listed at the back allow a more in-depth investigation of current research.
These broad themes reflect the interdisciplinary nature of research across the faculty. The School of Information Technologies has recently joined the faculty and research in this area is also included. We hope you find this brochure a useful guide to our research and researchers.
