Explore Engineering

If you’re a student in years 9 or 10 and like science and maths subjects at school, or are curious about what it’s like to be an engineer, come on campus for a 3 day engineering workshop. You will discover more about the range of disciplines and careers available in engineering and will participate in hands-on activities, meet current engineers and engineering students and ask them all your questions.

You will also be tasked with solving a real-life engineering problem and present your solutions at the end of the workshop, as you explore the different fields of engineering:

  • Aeronautical
  • Biomedical
  • Chemical & Biomolecular
  • Civil
  • Electrical
  • Mechanical
  • Mechatronic
  • Software

The 2017 Explore Engineering Workshop applications are now closed due to reaching enrolment capacity.
